Page 62 states, 'End of first edition.' Thus, the first edition of this work covered meetings from June 24 to November 10, 1888.
The second edition added coverage of meetings from November 11, 1888, through February 18, 1889 (through p. 133). Except for differences in the front matter, this ed. is the same as the 2nd ed. through p. 133.
This 4th edition includes reports from meetings in May and June, 1889. These reports are not included in the 2nd edition.
This edition does not include the appendix with the 2 addresses before the minister's club as stated on the title page. Those addresses were included in the 2nd ed.
Contains a title page, which reads: American first-fruits : being a brief record of eight months' divine healing missions in the state of California, conducted by the Rev. John Alex. Dowie and Mrs. Dowie from Melbourne, Australia, with an appendix containing two addresses on divine healing delivered before the Congregational Ministers' Club of San Francisco [4th ed.]. That was reprinted from the 2nd ed., with the date, edition and place of publication changed, but not the length of time (8 months not changed to 1 year as on cover).
